Roleplay
You relished me begging you not to go.
You´d announce you had to leave me,
to shop and work—´´because I´m big´´, you said.
So I´d furrow and squirm in my bean bag,
´´Please just stay with me all day, Mama´´.
´´No,´´ you´d turn and go, fast
and then real slow,
peeping back at me—
grinning eyebrows and nose;
all pleasure,
´´You mustn´t cry, Kind´´, you´d repeat,
waiting for me to flop over and wail
so you could return,
put your new cheek to my old cheek,
kiss my old brow with your new mouth,
whisper ´´It´s ok, we´re ok,
I am back, I´m back´´.
